The filming process for the sixth installment of the popular television series “The Crown” has started, and it looks like the upcoming season will focus on the love story of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The current season of “The Crown” is being filmed in Scotland and it is anticipated to be the last season of the series. The previous season, which debuted in November, focused on the breakdown of the relationship between King Charles III and the late Princess Diana.
Production for the fifth season of “The Crown” was halted in September due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, which is why the new season cannot come soon enough.
In the Netflix drama about the British royal family, Ed McVey plays the role of William and Meg Bellamy plays Kate. The current filming is taking place in St. Andrews, which has a significant meaning for William and Kate.
They first met while studying at St. Andrews University during the early 2000s, making this place special to them.
According to Brian Lang, the former principal at St. Andrews University, William and Kate’s love story began when they were friends and roommates, sharing a farmhouse with some other friends. Their relationship developed in front of their close classmates and companions.
The following comments confirmed as much: “We gave them four years of normal life, four years in which they could get to know one another free of the intrusion, glare, publicity.”
In 2011, William and Kate got married at Westminster Abbey and currently have three kids; Prince George (who is 9 years old), Princess Charlotte (who is 7 years old), and Prince Louis (who is 4 years old).
And one person who does keep up with the show is none other than Prince Harry. In January, during an interview, Harry, who is no longer an active member of the royal family, shared that he had viewed the program.
In some prior comments, he stated: “Yes, I have watched some of ‘The Crown. The older stuff and the more recent stuff.”
The firm has yet to respond to the Crown’s storyline, but once it comes out, there will be plenty to ponder over. Time will tell how it all plays out.
