Piers Morgan Called a Misogynist For Comments About Madonna
Piers Morgan has a talk show, Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV, where he usually expresses himself without holding back. However, most of the time, he passes on with no major consequences for what he says there. Well, this time is quite different. Madonna fans are furious at him for ‘insulting’ their muse.
The host of the TalkTV show told his guest that the 64-year-old Madonna is a ‘hot mess’ that needs to be put out to pasture. Furthermore, he criticized her for trying to be a sex kitten while being more than 60 years of age.
“I think the same way when I see men prancing around all their clothes off at the age of 60, 70 to a rock star status. They get too old for it.” – Piers Morgan told his guest Kate McCann. “The stick doesn’t work. Women should, like men, grow old with some grace.”
Piers Morgan faced some opposition from his guest on his last remark. When he brought up the age question, she asked him if he thinks ‘old can’t be beautiful’. Seeing that there is no coming back from it, the host argues that ‘old is beautiful’, but ‘You can’t be a sexpot in your 60s’.
Madonna announced her world tour for the 40th anniversary of her career with an Instagram video. In the video, she plays ‘truth or dare’ with some celebrity friends. As a dare she receives to play her greatest hits on a world tour and she accepts.
However, Madonna cannot do anything without controversy attached to it. So she begins the video by making a dare to her friend Amy Schumer to explain how she licks her husband’s a**hole. Naturally, Amy declines the dare and then makes the counter-dare for the tour.
In addition to this, in a separate video promoting the tour, Madonna tongue-kisses Jack Black while Lil Wayne cups her breasts. This also received massive reaction from the public – which most probably is Madonna’s goal in any case.
