In a recent episode, Gabriel Pabon apologized to the audience of ‘90 Day Fiancé’ for openly discussing the details of his gender reassignment surgery with his girlfriend Isabel Posada on camera.

Gabriel, who is the first transgender man in the franchise, is dating Isabel, a single mother from Colombia. Gabriel has relocated from Florida to Medellín, where he intends to operate his underwear business, GMPWear, and marry Isabel.
In a recent episode, Gabriel discussed his plans to undergo breast reduction surgery with a doctor and also spoke in-depth about his surgically-created penis.
With that being said, Gabriel held his hands up. In his comments, he said: “Anyone wanted to learn something or not. Yikes, oh my gosh, all of America knows about my penis.”
In addition to this, fans have been worried about Gabriel’s lack of Instagram posts about Isabel, as many believe they are the show’s only worthwhile couple.
In contrast, Isabel is being praised for her maturity and strength in accepting Gabriel as he is. Gabriel’s Instagram profile doesn’t feature Isabel and doesn’t reveal any information about his relationship status.
Isabel was aware of her son’s close bond with Gabriel but was unaware that he was transgender and soon to become her stepfather. Isabel was worried about her father’s reaction, given his conventional and close-minded views.
She was primarily concerned about informing her parents about Gabriel’s gender identity and whether they would approve of their relationship.
With that being said, the fans on social media had a mixed response. A certain subset of people felt that Gabriel had to have had a lot of courage in order to speak out about his issues so openly.
Meanwhile, others began to mock him on the basis that he had revealed too much to the public. One person wrote: “You weren’t embarrassed or ashamed and with that I’m sure you gave so SO MANY the permission to do the same for themselves.
“You are a special light and I’m beyond impressed with you! Keep shining,” while another person stated: “Why do they have to tell ANYONE at all? For drama for the show that’s all.
“These shows are all about drama and keeping the audience watching to see what happens next. Cheap shows and cheap actors if they are deemed as that.”
